At Centum Atlantic, we recognize that safety is of fundamental importance to the delivery of high quality reliable service, and as such, we are committed to providing our services in a manner that the health and safety of our employees, clients, contractors and visitors as well as protection of the Environment.

Our Policy Objectives are as follows:

Centum Atlantic will be committed to providing World Class Reliable Services and continual improvement in our operations and services to eliminate any form of injury to personnel, the public or harm to the environment. To this end, we shall:

  • Recognize our employees and personnel as our most valuable asset and provide them with the required Safety, Health and Environmental training and competence to carry out their duties in an injury and incident free manner.
  • Focus on Health, Safety and Environment in our operations to safeguard our personnel, customers, customer assets and the environment.
  • Adopt Health, Safety and Environmental international best practices in our services and operations.
  • Comply with all applicable National , International standards, regulations and standards in Health, Environment and Safety in the execution of our services.
  • Ensure all our employees have the right and provide a conducive work environment free of harassment where employees will be free, willing and able to report any violation of this policy for management resolution and follow up.
  • Document and publish our HSE performance periodically and yearly.
  • Ensure that our Clients, Business Partners, Service partners and alliances recognize, appreciate and comply with our HSE Policy, Goals and commitments – Management will also ensure that our contractors seek not only to meet these standards but to exceed them.
  • Whilst we will provide a very conducive work environment and ensure that all our employees are qualified and trained to safely conduct their activities, we will also emphasize that Safety remains the personal responsibility on our employees.

GETTING HSE RIGHT – OUR GOALS

It is our pledge to demonstrate respect for the environment and to work constantly and relentlessly to achieve our HSE goals of:

  • No accidents, No harm to people and No damage to the environment.
  • Over our lifetimes, we all have considered the cost of doing something and the cost of not doing it.
  • It’s something each and every one of us does every day in our personal lives, and it is also something we do at Centum Atlantic.
  • We see the effects of our actions or in actions when we look at the bottom line at the end of the quarter or month, when the project is complete, or at the end of the day when we comfort our families.
  • Costs affect our business, but are not limited to just money.
  • The costs of not doing something or not doing it with an understanding of the consequences are sometimes higher than they first seem.
  • The costs of not doing our work safely are not acceptable to me or to Centum Atlantic.

We focus on customer satisfaction which is a “model of excellence” based on the leading industrial system. The Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policy are built on the following principles:

  • No business goals are more important than safeguarding the life and health of personnel and the protection of the environment.
  • Accidents can be avoided.
  • Safety shall come first in all operations.
  • Every individual is responsible for the quality of his/her own work, and for ensuring that operations are performed in a safe way without  endangering his/her own life or health, or that of others.

The objectives of the Company Policies are:

  • Create a healthy working environment, which is stimulating for everyone.
  • Prevent all undesirable events by reporting injuries, damages and accidents or deviations from normal operation and on particular on hazardous situations.
  • Cooperate with our customers and suppliers to achieve common attitudes and goals within HSE.
  • Ensure that the relevant protective equipment is used during all operations.
  • Recognize everyone who contributes to HSE improvements and safe working practice which are being implemented.
